Eloping gives you the opportunity to cut down your guest list to literally zero, or to include just a few of your favorite people. The crowd can be as small as you like, especially in Colorado where officiants aren't a requirement. You get the chance to make the day completely yours, no frills (unless you want them) no pressure (besides the altitude).
You have the opportunity to cultivate a day that fits you perfectly, whether you're dreaming about hiking to a stunning view, in the foothills, wandering on pearl street to visit the best local coffee shops, or sharing a picnic together beside an alpine lake, Boulder has so much to offer as an elopement location, and I'd love to design a day that's exactly what you're dreaming.

And honestly, that’s completely normal. I've been photographing couples for over a decade, and have lots of tricks up my sleeve to help you relax, have fun, and enjoy your elopement experience while preserving beautiful images from your day.
My biggest piece of advice? Don't pay attention to the camera.
Stop.
Take a deep breath.
Look into the eyes of the person you've chosen to spend the rest of your life with.
And enjoy the moment.
If you're comfortable and having fun it will show up all over your photos. And if it still feels intimidating, don't worry! I've got you, and a lot of prompts to help put you both at ease.

My Approach to Boulder elopement Photography
types limited to 10 people (photographer included) I got the opportunity to photograph something different than the big venue weddings I'd captured since 2014.
And I absolutely loved them. Paring down the number of people took so much pressure off of wedding days, there wasn't anyone to impress.
Just the people you love the most, and a lot of joy.
Although my own wedding wasn't tiny, I was inspired by these small celebrations to make other pieces of my wedding day more simple, and I love that choosing to elope removes most of the big venue expections.
It gives you the opportunity to celebrate in a way that feels true to you, and that truly brings you joy.
