Riversong Inn Retreat has always been intended as a spot where you can get away from the chaos of the outside world. The center started construction in 1922 as a summer home for a banking family from Lincoln, Kansas. As they would come through each year, their kids would splash around in the stream as the family cooked food over the bonfire. For years, it would serve as their own private getaway. When the original patriarch of the family died, his wife married Frank Chase, an entrepreneur from California. They added on to the house and stayed there happily until Frank died, leaving the place to his daughter, who then sold it to a buyer in Florida nicknamed Tubby.
For years, Tubby would throw lavish parties until his death in 1971 left the home abandoned. It passed through a few more owners between then and 2017, when Jay and Krystal Jakosky purchased it to restore it to its former glory. Today, the house stands as a hidden oasis where people can gather, reconnect with nature, and create experiences that will stay with them for years to come!

Your first look photos can happen on one of their ceremony walkways. These spots are secluded and picturesque, giving you the perfect spot to share an intimate moment together.
For your group photos, you can stick around the wedding site and get some portraits with the breathtaking mountains just behind you. Then, once it’s time for your couple’s portraits, you can wander around the property, taking full advantage of spots like the creek, the meadows, and the wrap-around porch.
